- Module 1: Medicare FundamentalsThis module provides a foundational understanding of the Medicare program, including its history, purpose, and the essential components of Medicare Parts A and B. Agents will gain knowledge about eligibility, coverage details, costs, and enrollment requirements. Learning Objectives: By the end of this module, agents will be able to: Explain the history and purpose of Medicare. Differentiate between Medicare and Medicaid. Identify eligibility requirements for Medicare Parts A and B. Describe the coverage details, costs, and enrollment processes for Medicare Parts A and B. Educate clients about their Medicare options and assist them in making informed decisions
- Module 2: Medicare Advantage & Part DThis module focuses on Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Prescription Drug Plans (Part D). Agents will learn about the different types of Medicare Advantage plans, their benefits, eligibility requirements, and the rules governing Part D prescription drug coverage. By the end of this module, agents will be able to confidently explain these options to clients and assist them in making informed decisions.
- Module 3: Compliance & RegulationsThis module covers essential compliance guidelines and regulations that Medicare agents must follow. Agents will learn about CMS marketing rules, HIPAA compliance, documentation requirements, and ethical sales practices.
